The general program of (IFARP-4)

Program, Abstracts and Manuscripts Submission 

The scientific program of the forum will include invited expert presentations, selected oral presentations, and poster sessions. The IFARP-4 program will begin with the workshop/courses sessions on Radiation Protection and Safety on Sunday & Monday 27th - 28th March 2022. The forum program will continue through to a closing session ending at midday on Friday 31st March 2022. Following lunch on Tuesday, 29th there will be an opportunity for an excursion, and a forum dinner afterwards. This forum will be conducted to allow for the option of either physical or virtual presence.

Pre-Forum Courses

 

Course 1: Patient dose measurement and optimization.

 

The Standing Committee on Radiation Protection in association with the Radiological Sciences Department, CAMS, invite you all for 8 CMEs hours hybrid course, Approved by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. This course aims to provide the basic principles needed for radiation protection and safety for patients in hospitals and review the technical and practical information regarding ionising radiation exposure.

 

Pre-Forum Courses

 

Course 2: Occupational exposure and radiation dose reduction techniques

 

The Standing Committee on Radiation Protection in association with the Radiological Sciences Department, CAMS, invite you all for 8 CMEs hours online course, Approved by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The objective of this course is to improve understanding of monitoring and recording of radiation exposure, occupational exposure control measures and workers' health surveillance.
